Ingredients :
Black gram- 1 cup (Urad dal /మినపప్పు )
Sugar - 1 cup
Ghee - 1 cup
Cashews - 1/2 Cup
Method :
1. In a kadai, roast the Urad dal. It will emanate a nice flavor. Keep stirring and roasting till it turns uniformly brownish. It should not turn dark. Allow it to cool.
2. Roast cashew pieces in ghee and takes them to a bowl.
3. In a wide mouth mixer, grind to a coarse powder then add sugar and blend to a fine powder. Keep it aside.
4. Heat the ghee in a vessel.
5.In a big plate, transfer the blended powder. Slowly add hot ghee and keep mixing with hand, till the mix holds together start rolling the mixture into laddoos.
6. Stored the sunnundalu in an airtight container. Stay fresh for at least 15 days.
